About Authentic Brand Communication

Before founding Authentic Brand Communication, Bonnie Widerman worked for more than 30 years in corporate marketing and communications as a writer, project manager, strategist and leader of marketing communications teams.

About 10 years ago, she experienced firsthand the power of branding and how it can create clarity and direction for an organization’s marketing. Still, she found that smaller organizations and nonprofits usually did not take engage in branding, often plunging headlong into marketing without a clear sense of how to articulate who they are, what they have to offer and how they are unique.

She understood that this hesitation to delve into branding is driven by the unique pressures and constraints small organizations face. Branding may feel too time-consuming, too expensive and/or too intimidating, especially for organizations that don’t have their own marketing professionals.

In 2020, Bonnie decided to break down the barriers and allow more organizations to harness the power of branding by developing a proprietary branding system specifically for small businesses and nonprofits. The result was the Authentic Brand Communication Process, an 8-step branding process that can be completed efficiently and affordably in 3-4 interactive sessions.

Today, Bonnie enjoys partnering with entrepreneurs, as well as leaders who want to define their unique leadership brand, to help them discover their unique and authentic brand.
